I am doing much better since finding a great group of natural med docs, how ever I'm still tethered to western meds too.while I have not trust left for western meds it's for damned good reason. I had to have yet another mri today but this one was different.
I don't like mri's on the best of days and today was not at all good to start with.
First off I had to come in at 12:40.they didn't even get me back for another 25 min.if i was 25 min late they would raise hell.i go back to be ignored when asked why my veins all suck.25 ish yrs w crohns and 23 surgeries. They ask you questions then do the whole ,"yeah..mmm..kay..mmmhmm.." with out listening to a word you just said.this ended up in several failed attempts at an iv,then the shocked ,"ohh you told me that would work?" Yes and now you know why my veins are shot you asshats haven't listened in 25 yrs and you just joined a long line of the idiots who have caused me to have bad veins!
Twits.
I was then forced to drink almost a full galon of some new contrast crap.it made instantly sick and they want you to slowly sip that stuff over so many minute and you aren't allowed to down it to just get it over with.they were not at all shocked that within the first 10 min I was violently sick..like just giving yourself bad food poisoning sick.i was then told if I threw it up just to keep drinking it.the thought," go screw yourself" came to my mind.
I got incredibly sick I was walking into walls trying to run for the restroom.they had me in a waiting rm with other people waiting for different imaging while i was this sick and one bathroom between 20 some people.this went on for hrs.around two hrs later I was given a shot that is supposed to temperarily shut your digestive tract down.this was all pre planned as in they know it's going to make you sick and do it to you anyhow and not tell you.
I was then led back to my horror..they strapped me down with tubes and wires.and some big chest board and slapped a headset on me.im not good in a rm with out windows I rly hate elevators.ive gotten only more claustrophobic with age. Now I am strapped down and shoved in a tight hole for hrs..being told to hold my breath every other minute while I'm still trying to not throw up.
the iv..failed as I said it would.high pressure dye shoots in vein colapses and I get hosed with contrast fluid all while in the tube.i call the tech she says well we are just going to procede anyhow. I'm shaking and sweating and doing all I can not to flip the hell out and wriggle away or puke what ever comes first.
As I am being taken out of the machine the woman with the bedside manor of a poisonous reptile proceeds to lecture me on how it just feels like the stuff is spraying all over when it goes in but it didnt.umm I've had hundreds of mri's.i told her this before I went in.as she is talking down to me in her condescending go fuck yourself I know all manor she realizes her hands are wet..the towel was wet that my arm was on.liqud contrast dries sticky. Instead of apologies about talking to me like I'm mentally challenged ( and not a seasoned veteran of their b.s. procedures)i get an ,"ohh that must have felt strange".
I was then let go at 5pm still sick like I have a bad case of food poisoning into 5pm traffic.
Who need to torture prisoners of war, just send them into American modern healthcare they will crack in no time.
Another blah day.the health is in the toilet big time. My new natural meds docs are something else I'm basicly seeing almost an entire office full of them as a pool..A team. i have to say little by little things are rly working..it's just slow going.
My lymphadema is horrid, I'm so swollen I don't even fit in my clothes through half the month then decompress for no foreseeable reason . They are having me cut non natural sugars out of my diet even though I'm hypoglycemic not diabetic my damned blood sugar sure loves to drop low in a hurry. When asked what the a over body swelling crap felt like I can only describe it by saying it's like putting on a bunch of yard trash bags full of water and having them duct taped to your everything..face to feet it swells.for friends who aren't used to seeing it happen before their eyes it tends to freak people out.(try being in the body that does that it's horrifying horrifying and I never get used to it.)Well maybe they will unlock that as well severe chronic fatigue syndrome crap.
All i know is bodies sure feel like a prison when they won't work right.

This is why you were so worth the scads of money I didn't have, the worry, the meds, the time, the patience. This is how we often slept after he was sure to lick my nose first, often missing and hitting my eye when he got old. yep he was worth it all.As usual I look like hell,I was sick he was right there with me.. watching over me like some little old nurse.

bestowed, honoring the least evolved among us. Here is the glorious
winner:
1. When his 38 caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim
during a hold-up in Long Beach , California would-be robber James
Elliot did something that can only inspire wonder. He peered down the
barrel and tried the trigger again. This time it worked.
And now, the honourable mentions:
2. The chef at a hotel in Switzerland lost a finger in a meat cutting
machine and after a
little shopping around, submitted a claim to his
insurance company. The company expecting negligence sent out one of its
men to have a look for himself. He tried the machine and he also lost
a finger. The chef's claim was approved.
3. A man who shoveled snow for an hour to clear a space for his car
during a blizzard in Chicago returned with his vehicle to find a woman
had taken the space. Understandably, he shot her.
4. After stopping for drinks at an illegal bar, a Zimbabwean bus driver
found that the 20 mental patients he was supposed to be transporting
from Harare to Bulawayo had escaped. Not wanting to admit his
incompetence, the driver went to a nearby bus stop and offered everyone
waiting there a free ride. He then delivered the passengers to the
mental hospital, telling the staff that the patients were very
excitable and prone to bizarre fantasies.. The deception wasn't
discovered for 3 days.
5. An American teenager was in the hospital recovering from serious
head wounds received from an oncoming train. When asked how he
received the injuries, the lad told police that he was simply trying to
see how close he could get his head to a moving train before he was
hit.
6. A man walked into a Louisiana Circle-K, put a $20 bill on the
counter, and asked for change. When the clerk opened
the cash drawer,
the man pulled a gun and asked for all the cash in the register, which
the clerk promptly provided. The man took the cash from the clerk and
fled, leaving the $20 bill on the counter. The total amount of cash he
got from the drawer... $15. [If someone points a gun at you and gives
you money, is a crime committed?]
7. Seems an Arkansas guy wanted some beer pretty badly.. He decided
that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window,
grab some booze, and run. So he lifted the cinder block and heaved it
over his head at the window. The cinder block bounced back and hit the
would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. The liquor
store
window was made of Plexiglas. The whole event was caught on
videotape...
8. As a female shopper exited a New York convenience store, a man
grabbed her purse and ran. The clerk called 911 immediately, and the
woman was able to give them a detailed description of the snatcher.
Within minutes, the police apprehended the snatcher. They put him in
the car and drove back to the store. The thief was then taken out of
the car and told to stand there for a positive ID. To which he replied,
"Yes, officer, that's her. That's the lady I stole the purse from."
9.. The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a
Burger King in Ypsilanti , Michigan at 5 A.M., flashed a gun, and
demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't
open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered
onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast... The
man, frustrated, walked away. [*A 5-STAR STUPIDITY AWARD WINNER]
10. When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on
a Seattle street by sucking on a hose, he got much more than he
bargained for.. Police arrived at the scene to find a very sick man
curled up next to a motor home near spilled sewage. A police spokesman
said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline, but he plugged
his siphon hose into the motor home's sewage tank by mistake. The
owner
of the vehicle declined to press charges saying that it was the best
laugh he'd ever had.
In the interest of bettering mankind, please share these with friends
and family....unless of course one of these individuals by chance is a
distant relative or long lost friend. In that case, be glad they are
distant and hope they remain lost.

Tonight (4 days after the fact) I feel my arm really hurting and burning, i looked down to see it covered in little blisters or hives, the entire site is bright red and swelling pretty big. I freaked and took a butt-load of benadryl hoping it's not some allergic reaction. So far i am breathing ok and don't have a fever but has anyone else had this from the shot before? i am pretty worried! It's burning and swelling and getting more blisters and looking like one big deep blister the way it's swelling (not a clear one but it looks like a bright fire red lump for sure!)
I am feeling abnormally tired tonight i think i am going to lay down with an icepack on it and see if i can sleep. meh!
